Admissions Procedure for International Medical Students

According to the admissions process, international medical students send their admission documents by scan to the email of the admissions office mentioned below. These documents are secondary school certificates with an international passport copy.

International applicants from India and Pakistan are required to scan their 10+2 certificate for eligibility assessment.

These documents are assessed within two days, and international applicants are informed by email about their admission eligibility or ineligibility.

International medical students should have studied chemistry and biology in secondary school or integrated science.

Foreign medical students who are found eligible send their admissions fee, and the admissions office forwards their documents to the migration department, as the admissions for international students are issued by the migration department in Russia.

This issuance process of official study invitations takes 45 days in Russia at the migration department.

Once issued, this official study invitation is sent to the international applicant for Russian student visa processing, and the visa is issued to all those international medical students who have an official study invitation issued by the migration department.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION IN RUSSIA FOR GENERAL MEDICINE

Many international medical students come to Russia for their general medicine programs, but not all are good at English, so for those foreign students, there is premedical faculty at all state medical universities in Russia, where these international medical students study their one-year Russian language course with science subjects.

Once they complete their one-year premedical program, they are admitted to general medicine at one of these state medical universities in Russia.

There are international medical students who are good at English; they study their general medicine courses directly in English as the medium of instruction; they do not need to study at a premedical faculty.

RUSSIAN STUDENT VISA PROCESS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

A Russian student visa is the only one that is issued to all international students who have an official study invitation from the migration department.

Russian embassies are located in all countries, so international students submit their visa files at the embassy of Russia in their country and obtain their visas.
