Studying cybersecurity in Belarus is the perfect decision for foreign applicants, and they will get the best after graduation from any university in Belarus.
WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY CYBER SECURITY IN BELARUS?
To study cybersecurity at one of the Belarusian universities, all foreign applicants should have a secondary school certificate and a travel passport. This requirement is for undergraduate degrees in cybersecurity.
To study a master’s in Belarus, all international applicants should have passed their bachelor’s degree, and this bachelor’s degree they may have earned from any country.
WHAT DEGREE LEVELS ARE AVAILABLE TO STUDY CYBER SECURITY?
Cybersecurity is offered at bachelor’s and master’s degree levels in Belarus at state universities.
1: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN CYBER SECURITY
All foreign applicants who come to study cybersecurity at any university in Belarus study for their bachelor’s degree for four years.
2: MASTER’S DEGREE IN CYBER SECURITY
A master’s in cybersecurity course is offered for two years at all universities in Belarus.
HOW DO I SEND ADMISSION DOCUMENTS?
We recommend all foreign applicants send their admission documents by scan, as it is the best and fastest way to send documents to the email of admissions staff for eligibility assessment.
HOW DOES THE ADMISSION PROCESS WORK IN BELARUS?
The admissions process in Belarus is very easy and simple to follow.
As we have mentioned above, the admissions office accepts the admission document copies by scan, so once these documents are received by the admissions staff in their email, they start the evaluation process.
This assessment process is completed within two days maximum, and all applicants are notified by email of their admission possibilities.
Those foreign students who are found eligible are required to send their admission fee and scan the receipt to the email of the admissions staff for their records.
There are sometimes foreign applicants who are not found eligible, so these ineligible applicants are asked to scan more academic documents if required for the completion of their admission process at any university in Belarus.
WHO ISSUES THE OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS?
As we all know, foreign students come to study at universities abroad, and in almost all European countries, the admissions are issued by the universities and colleges, but in Belarus, the admissions issuance system is quite different.
In Belarus, admissions for foreign applicants are only approved by the migration department.
Once the admission fee is received, the admissions staff forwards the admission documents to the migration department for approval of admissions at universities in Belarus, and this process at the migration department takes two weeks to be completed.
Once issued, this official study invitation by the migration department is sent to the international applicant, as they require it for their Belarus study visa processing, whether on arrival or before arrival.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS STUDYING CYBERSECURITY
Cybersecurity degrees are very prominent among Algerian international students; they come to Belarus and join cybersecurity faculties every year, even though their numbers are small.
Algerian international students are good at French and Arabic, they study a Russian language course at Belarusian universities, and then join cybersecurity undergraduate and graduate programs.
