WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY MECHANICAL ENGINEERING?
All national or international students who want to study mechanical engineering should hold with them a secondary school certificate and an international travel passport.
Those foreign students who want to study for a master’s in mechanical engineering at state engineering universities in Belarus must have a bachelor’s degree, and it does not play any role where they earned this bachelor’s degree.
HOW TO APPLY?
First of all, international applicants scan their secondary school certificate with an international travel passport copy to the email of the admissions staff, which is written below.
To study for a master’s in Belarus for mechanical engineering, foreign applicants scan their bachelor’s degree along with a secondary school certificate and an international passport copy.
Once these required admission documents are received, the admission assessment process takes two days to be completed.
After assessment, the admissions staff sends an email to all eligible or ineligible applicants with further instructions.
Eligible international applicants send their admission fee and scan the fee receipt to the email of the admissions office for their records.
Ineligible applicants are required to provide more academic documents for their admission.
WHERE ARE OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS PROCESSED?
All foreign students require an invitation from Belarus for Belarus student visa processing, and these official study invitations are processed at the migration department in Belarus.
Once the admissions staff receives the admission fee receipt, they forward their admission documents to the migration department for the issuance of an official study invitation to study mechanical engineering in Belarus at one of the engineering universities.
This issuance process at the migration department takes two weeks, and the official study invitation is handed over to the admissions staff.
The admissions office sends this invitation to a foreign applicant because he or she cannot travel to Belarus without an official study invitation approved by the migration department.
WHERE DO FOREIGN STUDENTS OBTAIN BELARUSIAN STUDENT VISAS?
Most foreign nationals depart from their country’s airport to Minsk International Airport with an official study invitation and an OK TO BOARD for departure, and the visa is stamped in their passport at Minsk International Airport for 110 dollars.
They also pay an insurance fee of 170 euros at the Minsk International Airport immigration counter.
Some countries have Belarusian embassies, so these foreign nationals obtain their visas from the Belarusian embassy before travelling. These countries are India, Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Pakistan.
All foreign students must scan their ticket 3-5 days before travelling to the admissions office for the preparation of their reception documents at Minsk International Airport.
