WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY ECOLOGY IN BELARUS?
It all depends on at what level these foreign students want to study ecology at universities in Belarus.
To study an undergraduate course in ecology, all foreign applicants should have with them a secondary school certificate and a travel passport copy.
To study for a master’s in Belarus, foreign students should already have a bachelor’s degree with them, and it does not matter from where they completed their bachelor’s degree, in Belarus or abroad.
Please note that foreign students from India and Pakistan who want to study for an undergraduate degree in ecology at any university in Belarus must present a 10+2 certificate copy for assessment.
WHICH DEGREE LEVELS ARE AVAILABLE FOR STUDYING ECOLOGY IN BELARUS?
There are two degree levels offered in Belarus for all national and foreign students in ecology.
A bachelor’s degree in ecology consists of four years, while to earn a master’s in ecology, national and foreign students study for two years at any state university in Belarus.
HOW DO I SEND ADMISSION DOCUMENTS FOR STUDYING IN BELARUS?
We recommend foreign students send their admission documents for studying ecology by scan to the email of the admissions staff, which is written below.
These scanned copies of documents should be very clear and in a readable format, as admissions staff have to assess their admission eligibility.
For bachelor’s degree admission, foreign students scan their secondary school certificate copy and a travel passport copy.
For a master’s degree, foreign applicants scan their bachelor’s degree copy and also an international passport copy.
HOW DOES THE ADMISSION PROCESS WORK FOR STUDYING AT UNIVERSITIES IN BELARUS?
Once these admission documents are received, they are assessed by the admissions staff within 2 days.
After assessment, all foreign applicants are sent an email confirming their admission eligibility or ineligibility.
Eligible applicants send their admission fee, while ineligible applicants are requested to provide more academic documents if required for their admission.
WHO ISSUES THE OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS FOR STUDYING IN BELARUS?
No matter which course foreign applicants want to study in Belarus, all official study invitations are approved by the migration department in Belarus.
After receiving the admission fee, their documents are forwarded to the migration department for the issuance of a study invitation, which takes two weeks to be issued.
Once issued, this study invitation is sent to the foreign applicant for his or her Belarus study visa processing, whether on arrival or before arrival.
