WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY BUSINESS IN BELARUS?
All national and international students who have passed their secondary school may apply for admission to study business.
There are always foreign students who want to study business at the master’s level, so all national and foreign students should have a bachelor’s degree with them when applying to Belarusian universities.
DEGREE LEVELS FOR BUSINESS COURSES
1: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS
At all economic universities in Belarus, business courses are offered at the bachelor’s degree level, and to earn a bachelor’s degree, national and foreign students study business for four years.
After graduation, all students earn a degree called a bachelor’s in business administration or a bachelor’s in business management.
2: MASTER’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS
A master’s in Belarus is also offered at all economics universities for national and international students. A master’s degree in business consists of 1-2 years, and after completion of a master’s course, all students earn a degree called a master’s in business administration, or MBA.
HOW TO BE ADMITTED TO BUSINESS FACULTIES?
The admissions office requires a secondary school certificate with an international travel passport copy for eligibility assessment, and these requirements are for admission to a bachelor’s degree.
To be admitted for a master’s in business administration, foreign students scan their bachelor’s degree with an international travel passport copy.
Please note that the scanned copies of admission documents should be in readable format and quite visible for eligibility assessment.
Once the required admission documents are received by the admissions staff, they start the assessment process, which takes two days to be completed.
After assessment, the admissions staff sends an email to all foreign applicants regarding their admission eligibility or ineligibility.
Those foreign students who receive an eligibility email are required to send their admission fee and scan the admission fee receipt to the email of the admissions staff.
Those foreign students who receive an email about their ineligibility on some academic grounds are asked to scan more educational documents for the completion of their admission process.

Once the admissions staff receives the admission fee slip in their email, they forward their documents for the processing of an official study invitation.
In other European countries, the admissions are issued by the universities themselves, but in Belarus, the official study invitations are approved by the migration department.
This process of issuance takes two weeks to be completed, and an official study invitation is handed over to the admissions office.
The admissions staff sends this official study invitation approved by the migration department for studying in Belarus to the foreign applicants, as they require it for their Belarus student visa processing.
