DEGREE LEVELS TO STUDY BIOCHEMISTRY?

Biochemistry is offered at bachelor’s and master’s levels at many state universities in different cities.

A bachelor’s degree in biochemistry is offered for four years, while a master’s in Belarus is offered for two years in the field of biochemistry.

English is the medium of instruction for a master’s in biochemistry.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO STUDY BIOCHEMISTRY?

All national and foreign students who have with them a secondary school certificate may apply for admission to any university in Belarus for their biochemistry degree programs.

International applicants from India and Pakistan who want to study biochemistry at the undergraduate level are required to present their 10+2 certificate copy.

For a master’s in Belarus, national and foreign applicants should have with them a bachelor’s degree for admission to any Belarusian university.

HOW DO I SEND ADMISSION DOCUMENTS?

In the past, foreign students have been using different postal and courier services to send their admission documents to Belarus, and it took a long time to reach Belarus and was even expensive.

Now, after the invention of the internet, it has become very easy to send and receive documents, so we always recommend that our foreign applicants scan their documents to the email of the admissions staff.

Just keep in mind that the scanned documents should be in readable format and visible, as admissions staff has to assess these documents for admission purposes.

HOW DOES THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE WORK?

Once the admission documents are received by scan, the admissions staff starts the assessment process and completes it within two days maximum, as there are always a huge number of applications the admissions office receives from foreign applicants.

Once the assessment is done, the admissions staff notifies the applicants through email about their admission.

Eligible foreign applicants are required to send their admission fee and scan the receipt in the email of admissions staff for their records, while those foreign applicants who are not found eligible due to some academic reasons are asked to scan more supportive documents for their admission, if required.

WHERE ARE OFFICIAL ADMISSION LETTERS PROCESSED?

In other European countries, the admission letters are issued by the colleges and universities, but in Belarus, the system is quite different.

In Belarus, the official admission letters for foreign applicants are approved by the migration department only.

Once the admission fee is received, their admission documents are forwarded to the migration department for processing of an official study invitation, which enables foreign applicants to study in Belarus.

Once the official study invitation is issued, the admissions staff sends it to the applicants for their visa processing.
